TAAG Angola Airlines to Launch New Route to Nairobi
Angola’s National Flag carrier TAAG Angola Airlines has announced a launch of a new Luanda–Nairobi route which will commence September 1, 2025.
The service will offer three weekly frequencies, bringing greater connections between Southern and Eastern Africa. The airline has a large domestic network and flights to other parts of Africa and South America. TAAG has been one of the few profitable sub-Saharan African carriers.
Originally set up within a government department, TAAG Angola Airlines remains 100% owned by the government of Angola. TAAG is itself the sole owner of Angola Air Charter, also based in Luanda, that operates cargo charters in Africa.
