Qatar Airways Withdraws From Farnborough Airshow Following National Mourning

Qatar Airways has withdrawn from the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow following the declaration of a national mourning period in Qatar.

The airline had planned to display a Boeing 777-300ER featuring a special livery created for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. A Qatar Executive Gulfstream G700 business jet equipped with Starlink connectivity was also scheduled to be showcased in the static display.

Following the airline’s decision to cancel its participation, both aircraft were removed from the event programme.
