Jetways Airlines Fokker 50 Cargo Plane Crashes In Somalia

A freighter plane, Fokker 50 belonging to Jetways Airlines Company Ltd has crashed at Ceelbarde Airstrip in Somalia while transporting humanitarian aid to the region.

Reports indicate that one pilot has been killed and another injured. Jetways Airlines Limited is a registered airline company based at Wilson Airport, Nairobi, Kenya. The airline company focuses on delivering exceptional aviation services in Kenya and the greater East and Central African region.

The company offers a wide range of services, including ACMI leasing, commercial passenger service, commercial cargo service, humanitarian relief services, and direct charter services. The company is fully licensed to operate scheduled, non-scheduled, and ad-hoc air charter services.

The company boosts of a fleet consisting of Fokker 50, Fokker 70, and Fokker 100 aircraft and plans on expanding the fleet in the near future to handle a growing demand of services both in the region and beyond.
