Uganda Airlines and Airlink Partner to Expand Smooth Travel Links Across Africa
The agreement significantly expands connectivity, offering travelers seamless access to over 45 destinations across Southern and East Africa.
Uganda Airlines, the national carrier of the Republic of Uganda, has announced a strategic interline partnership with Airlink, a leading Southern African airline. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in enhancing air travel connectivity within the African continent.
The partnership effectively bridges Entebbe International Airport (EBB) with Airlink’s extensive network, providing Uganda Airlines’ passengers with seamless connections to over 45 destinations across Southern Africa. Conversely, travelers from Southern Africa will enjoy smooth access to Uganda and the wider East African region.

The interline agreement simplifies travel logistics, allowing passengers to book through-journeys with coordinated schedules and through-checked baggage to a wide array of destinations, including:
- Coastal gems like Cape Town, Durban, and Vilanculos.
- Safari hotspots such as Maun (gateway to the Okavango Delta), Kruger National Park, and Windhoek.
- Vibrant economic hubs including Johannesburg, Gaborone, and Harare.
This initiative underscores both airlines’ commitment to fostering tourism, trade, and regional integration by making intra-Africa travel more accessible and efficient than ever before.
