Gulfstream Unveils the All-New G300: Shaping the Future of Business Aviation

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, has officially introduced the all-new Gulfstream G300, a next-generation super-midsize business jet designed to replace the successful Gulfstream G280. The launch took place at Gulfstream’s exclusive Discover the Difference customer event in Savannah, where a full-scale mock-up and images of the first aircraft in production were revealed.
“With more than a decade of investment and a future-forward vision, our next-generation fleet offers the most innovative family of aircraft in the industry,” said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream. “The super-midsize segment is critically important to our customers. Building on the success of the G280, the G300 redefines the category with advanced technology, safety enhancements, and Gulfstream’s hallmark comfort and design.”
Next-Level Comfort and Performance
The G300 blends trans-Atlantic range with short-field performance, making it equally suited for long-haul missions and challenging airports. The aircraft can fly 3,600 nautical miles (6,667 km) at Mach 0.80 or 3,000 nm (5,556 km) at Mach 0.84, with a maximum cruise altitude of 45,000 feet (13,716 m).
Inside, passengers experience the longest cabin in its class, configured with two living areas and seating for up to 10. Gulfstream’s signature Panoramic Oval Windows—10 in total—flood the cabin with natural light, while passengers enjoy the lowest cabin altitude in its class at 4,800 feet (1,463 m) when flying at 41,000 feet (12,497 m). The cabin also features 100% fresh air circulation and a plasma ionization purification system, ensuring exceptional comfort and wellness.
Advanced Harmony Flight Deck
The new Harmony Flight Deck brings next-generation avionics to the forefront of safety and efficiency. Pilots benefit from:
- Six touch-screen displays with Phase-of-Flight intelligence for intuitive operation
- Synthetic Vision-Primary Flight Display, projecting 3D terrain and runways for enhanced situational awareness
- Predictive Landing Performance System, which calculates and displays runway stopping distance in real time
Coupled with Gulfstream’s aerodynamically optimized wing and high-thrust Honeywell engines, the G300 promises fast, fuel-efficient performance.
