Air Sierra Leone Plans to Debut Commercial Flights to London Gatwick

Air Sierra Leone, the newly privately owned flag carrier of Sierra Leone plans to debut commercial flights between Freetown and London Gatwick in early June 2025 with a Boeing B737-8 sourced from Ascend Airways. This was revealed by Sierra Leone’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Emmanuel Iza in his exclusive interview with CH-Aviation’s Hilka Birns.

The move is aimed at offering seamless travel  services between travelers from Sierra Leone to London Gatwick and vice-versa, a move which will greatly open up new opportunities for business, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two destinations.
