Uganda Tourism Board Renews it’s Strategic MOU with Emirates to Promote Uganda as the leading tourism destination.

The Memorandum of Understanding was was signed during the Arabian Travel Market by UTB’s acting CEO Mr. Bradford Ochieng and Emirate’s Senior Vice President Adil Al Ghaith, in the presence of key dignitaries including Uganda’s Ambassador to the UAE.

Since the of the MOU in 2024, Emirates and UTB have hosted familiarization trips for key trade partners, hoteliers, travel Agency partners and tour operators, who are instrumental in driving awareness of the destination.

Emirates has recorded a 16% increase in passenger traffic on the Dubai-Entebbe route since January 2025.
