Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Hosts Customer Care Training Workshop for Airport Stakeholders

The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has organized a two-day Customer Care Training Workshop for stakeholders operating at Entebbe International Airport. The training is running from Thursday, August 14 to Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Imperial Golf View Hotel, Entebbe.
The workshop was officially opened by the General Manager of Entebbe International Airport, Mr. Emmanuel Barungi, who emphasized the importance of enhancing customer experience and passenger satisfaction across all interactions with the airport community.
Mr. Barungi reminded participants that airport staff serve as the face of Uganda, urging them to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. “The true value of today’s training lies in the ideas we exchange and the commitment we make to apply them,” he remarked.
The workshop brought together a wide range of airport stakeholders, including representatives from Immigration, Customs, Forex Bureau operators, Duty-Free Shops, Hotels, Handling Agents, and Restaurant operators, among others.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Chris Roddy Muhango and focused on building a customer-centric culture that strengthens service delivery and reflects Uganda’s hospitality at the gateway to the nation.
