Skytrax Names Singapore Changi World’s Best Airport 2025
Skytrax, the international air transport rating company has named Singapore’s Changi Airport as the world’s best airport for the year 2025 as voted by customers from across the world in the 2024-2025 World Airport Survey.
Skytrax World Airport Survey participants are asked about everything from the airport’s website to the friendliness of its staff, the entertainment facilities to the baggage delivery times, and 575 of them are assessed in total.
According to Skytrax, Changi Airport also claimed the titles for best airport dining experience and world’s best airport washrooms.
This year, Hamad International Airport came in second place, followed by Japan’s Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) in third position.
The awards were based on a global survey conducted by Skytrax. Over 13 million airport users from more than 100 countries at 575 airports responded to the survey from August 2024 to February 2025.
Travellers were asked to rate airports according to their experience at different points, from check-in, arrival, transfer, shopping, security and immigration through to departure at the gate. This is the 13th time Changi airport is claiming top spot as world’s best airport.
