Kenya Airways Announces Direct Flights from London Gatwick to Nairobi
Kenya’s National Carrier, Kenya has announced a three times direct weekly flights between London Gatwick and Nairobi effective 3rd July 2025. This development is expected to boost tourism as travelers will enjoy vibrant Kenyan coast which offers a unique blend of pristine beaches, rich culture, and swahili cuisine.
The announcement of Kenya Airways’ direct flights between London Gatwick and Nairobi follows a recent similar announcement by Uganda’s national carrier – Uganda Airlines to operate a direct route between Entebbe Airport and London Gatwick which is expected to commence on 18th May 2025.
The introduction of these direct flights from London Gatwick to both Nairobi and Entebbe is seen a significant booster to both tourism and trade across the East Africa region and will likely culminate into cultural exchanges between the Britons and the East African people.
