Ethiopian Airlines Temporarily Suspends Flights to Enugu Airport

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest Airline has today suspended flights to Enugu Airport (ENU) an airport serving Enugu, the capital of Enugu State of Nigeria.
In a statement released by Ethiopian Airlines, customers have been informed that operations to Akanu Ibiam International Airport popularly known as Enugu Airport are suspended until 06 May 2025 due to runway rehabilitation works being carried out by airport authorities.
The runway rehabilitation works being carried out by airport authorities are aimed at improving safety and service delivery to users.
Akanu Ibiam International Airport also serves Enugu city and other nearby cities such as Abakaliki, Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, Afikpo, Okigwe, Nsukka, Ugep, Orlu, Idah, Otukpo, and Ogoja.
The Airport is strategically located at Emene which is the primary industrial hub in Enugu State.
