EgyptAir Training Academy Renews EASA Approval for flight simulators
Egyptair Training Academy has succeeded in renewing the European Aviation Safety Agency’s approval for the following flight simulators: A320 neo, B777-200ER, B737-800 NG.
The Academy says it obtained the approval of adding the UPRT feature to the Boeing B737-800 NG simulator, to comply with the latest local and international legislation related to simulators and flight training. This addition enhances the device’s potentials, and will assure that EGYPTAIR TRAINING ACADEMY is capable of providing pilots whether from EGYPTAIR Airlines or any other Egyptian or foreign airline with the latest internationally certified training systems.
In a statement, EgyptAir announced the success of the EgyptAir Training Academy in renewing the accreditation of the European Aviation Safety Agency.
Pilot Amr Aboul-Enein, President of the Holding Company for EgyptAir, stated that the EgyptAir Training Academy succeeded in renewing the European Civil Aviation Safety Agency’s accreditation for the A320 Neo- B777-200ER-B737-800NG models with the highest levels of qualification, in continuation of the successes of the Holding Company for EgyptAir and its subsidiaries in following International standards in the air transport industry and the renewal of international certificates and accreditations specialized in the field of training civil aviation activities.
Pilot Ehab El-Tahtawy, head of the EgyptAir Training Academy, added that the academy also succeeded in approving the addition of the UPRT feature to the B737-800 NG representative flight device, in order to comply with the latest local and international legislation related to representative flight devices and flight training, and this accreditation is a new addition to the capabilities of the device and contributes to In training the pilots of EgyptAir for airlines and private and foreign Egyptian companies with the latest internationally approved training systems at the EgyptAir Training Academy
