Egyptair and Etihad Airways sign MoU to Strengthen Relationship

Egyptair and Etihad Airways have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a bid to enhance commercial and operational ties.

The Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways Mr. Antonoaldo Neves noted in his press statement that the agreement will help further deepen codeshare with EgyptAir opening up seamless travel for guests of both airlines across their networks.

He went ahead to note that the development lays the tracks for co-operation across both Etihad and Egyptair’s frequent flyer programmes and will enable to explore collaboration on joint-marketing campaigns and promotions designed to stimulate and reward their customers.

On the other hand, Yehia Zakaria, Chairman and CEO at EgyptAir, noted that the Memorandum of Understanding will strengthen both parties’ strategic partnership and underscores commitment to providing valued customers with a seamless travel experience and access to a wider network.

Mr. Yehia emphasized his confidence that the partnership with Etihad Airways will not only benefit passengers but also foster a stronger relationship between Egypt and United Arab Emirates. Both companies look forward to a successful collaboration and soaring to new heights together.
