South African Civil Aviation Authority Rebrands and Relocates

South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) will be relocating its Ikhaya Lokundiza headquarters from the current premises in Midrand to a new facility at Byls Bridge Boulevard Office Park, Centurion, from 1 June 2025. The current office space has become inadequate for SACAA’s needs.

The new office is environmentally friendly and offers improved health and safety standards. Another key benefit of the new location is its easy access to major highways, ensuring a more convenient experience for both SACAA staff and stakeholders. Unlike their current arrangement of operating across two separate buildings, the new space will consolidate all services in one location, providing greater efficiency in operations and improved internal coordination.

SACAA Rebranding

As part of this transition, the SACAA is also undergoing a rebranding process, which includes unveiling a new logo during the month of June. While the current logo has served SACAA well in representing their legacy, the new logo will better reflect growth, aspirations, and commitment to a forward-looking approach. SACAA will update the industry on the dedicated launch date in due course.

After the official launch, all SACAA documentation that includes certificates, licenses, and website will reflect the new logo. Any documentation issued before the official transition remains valid until its expiry date.

Client Services will remain fully operational

SACAA is dedicated to ensuring a seamless transition and would like to assure clients and stakeholders that their services will not be interrupted during the relocation process. SACAA staff will commence the move to the new premises from 2 May 2025, however the Examinations and Client Services Walk-in Centre will remain fully operational at the Midrand office until Friday, 30 May 2025.

All services will resume at the new location from Monday, 2 June 2025.

SACAA encourages Staff to make arrangements for online meetings during the transition period to ensure minimal disruption and inconveniences to their schedules.
